Maybe Gurov does a bit of vital tumbling in said story. That could be even more entertaining than the poppy seeds and avocado. On the other hand, I'm rather attached to poppy seeds and avocado, so maybe not.
This is a Chekhov story we're talking about, so I suppose avocado was off the menu. What kind of roll does one have with one's borsht?
