Diddums

Today, in unrelated incidents, I stubbed a toe, chipped a toof, and scalped a knee.

This is what happens when you try to solve a Rubik's cube with your elbows.

Sage advice, only I wish you'd shared it earlier.

My grandfather would ask if you apologised to the object upon which you stubbed your toe, chipped your tooth and scalped your knee. He would then follow up with enquiries concerning the health of the aforementioned object.

But I will instead express my hope that the wounds to flesh and pride will not be long lasting. If it's any consolation, I walked into an iron railing the other day and the railing was completely unscathed (the point of contact with my body doesn't bear thinking about!).

Not so much a case of 'the tooth shall set you free' as 'you shall set free the tooth'. But ouch.

Poor fing.

I also hurt me toof biting into a fishbone last night. that's how come like yourself I'm saying toof and fing not tooth and thing.

You have my empathy and condolences.
