How I amuse myself on the weekends

Whenever anyone appends "ass" to an adjective (e.g., "She's a real short-ass", or "You're totally bad-ass"), I mentally translate "ass" into "bottom" (e.g., "You're totally bad-bottom").

I think the entire State Govt of Victoria brayed in protest for all of their donkey-kind.

Trust that xkcd to get there first. Actually, I guess it was Shakespeare, calling an ass Bottom.

In Dublin my favourite burger joint was called The Badass Cafe complete with a Donkey dolled up punk-like logo. It's famous not only for preempting your blog post but because Sinead O'Connor waitressed there.

Oh Lexi I still use "bad bottom" and 'wise bottom' from time to time and think of you. Works a treat.
